Free City Wide Wifi Launched in New York
The ambitious project to roll out free wifi across the whole of New York has begun. Over 7,500 pay phones across the five boroughs are being replaced with Lin stations tht will provide free wi-fi, a tablet to browse the internet and charging stations.
The company CEO, Fred Dixon, “Everything begins in New York,” he said. “It is a destination that is always evolving and growing and therefore offering new experiences for your clients.”
“This year we are on our way to welcoming 60 million visitors,” he added.” Australia is now one of our key international markets welcoming 651,000 Australians in 2015, and this year that number will grow to 669,000.
In 2015 a record 58.3 million visitors, seeing over six consecutive years of growth. Alongside a booming economy the city has become a hub for international events.
