UN Conference Uses Poken Event Technology. The recent United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bonn which ended recently on the 26th May got to grips with Poken’s latest offering. The event partnered with Swiss technology company Poken in order to improve the carbon footprint of their event
The technology provided a “digital handshake” between UN delegates, exhibitors and other attendees by allowing them to pass information without needing to print documents, flyers or similar event material.
All attendees at the event were provided with an interactive and cutting edge USB drive which allowed them to collect documentation by simply swiping their device on digital readers at each exhibitor booth or media point throughout the event.
The associate organiser of the show Zhanna Zhussupova said, Using technology to enhance the green credentials of our event has been a priority. Poken’s leading-edge approach to conference document management, and its proven track record with other UN and UN-like organisations convinced us to implement its technology at our event.”
