Alexandra Palace to Undergo £27m East Wing Restoration
Historical venue, Alexandra Palace is set to undergo a vast renovation programme on their East Wing. There is set to be a new 1,300 capacity space for performance as the now derelict wing faces restoration
The Lottery Fund will provide £19m for the project alongside £7m worth of funds from London Borough. The venue is owned by a Charitable trust and is set to complete renovations by 2017.
At present almost half of the venue is inaccessible to the public, the current plan would see the whole building available for public use. At present the Charitable Trust are still looking for in excess of £1m worth of funding to complete the final plans.
