Appointment: New Event Manager for London’s Barbican. The recent growth in the events team at the Barbican has seen them appoint Silvana Ambrosiou as their new business and event manager. With over ten years experience in the events and hospitality industry it is hoped she will be a great fit for the team.
Ambrosiou will be taking on the resposibility for the management of commercial events, relationships with clients and cross departmental liaising.
The new addition to the team comes after considerable recent growth for the the Barbican with a new event executive and just under £1m worth of events contracts signed within one week.
Head of Event Management, Lee Dobson said, “Silvana has settled into her role well and she has brought a real energy to the team as we look to make 2016 another year to remember.”
