Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) has recently announced that it will be looking to invest £10m over the course of the next three years with a refurbishment plan to “improve the customer experience and freshen up the venue.
The project has so far given a facelift to their 3,000 sqm Hall 3 and registration desk area. The mall is currently under renovation. Nick Waight from the ICC was quoted as saying, “The work on Hall 3 was completed in August and we have had extremely positive feedback about the changes from customers,” Nick Waight, ICC Managing Director
“This comes at an exciting time for us as we’re also opening our new venue the Vox at Resorts World – and indeed for Birmingham which as a city is reaping the results of some fantastic urban regeneration projects with the unveiling of the new Grand Central and New Street Station complex last week. It really is the ideal time to rediscover Birmingham as an events destination,”
We look forward to reading further updates from the ICC as their plans progress
