Mozaic Hotels & Resorts announced today the opening of The Great Hall at Bintan Lagoon Resort, as it welcomes its first Incentive group of more than 350 staff, from a Multi-National Company based in Singapore.

“The Great Hall was selected as the preferred venue choice for the client based on three criteria; the convenience of a direct ferry service from Singapore to the resort’s doorstep, the capacity to accommodate the group size as well as a fully equipped conference centre with the latest audio visual system,” explains Henry Ng, Vice-President of Sales at Mozaic Hotels & Resorts, the management company of The Great Hall.

Spanning a combined open space area of 20,000 square feet, The Great Hall provides significant conference and events space. The pillar-less banquet hall on the first floor with a ceiling height of 5.5metres featuring natural daylight offers a theatre style seating capacity of up to 1,300 guests. Additional space areas include a ground floor reception foyer holding 500 standing guests and an outdoor roof terrace on the second floor which can accommodate 200 guests.

“We are thrilled to have incepted Bintan island’s newest and most sophisticated international conference centre with about 20 groups and events lined up to book our venue by this year-end,” says Robert Ramey, Managing Director of Mozaic Hotels & Resorts.

Situated on the lush, tropical gardens of Bintan Lagoon Resort offering onsite accommodation of 473 deluxe rooms, The Great Hall is in proximity to more than 900 hotel rooms on the island within 10 to 30 minutes by car or shuttle bus. The exquisite beach at Bintan Lagoon Resort with panoramic views of the South China Sea and the availability of numerous recreational activities makes The Great Hall an inevitable choice for MICE and business decision makers.
