SkyTeam Airline Alliance Improve Global Meetings Platform

The SkyTeam airline alliance have seen an annual increase of 18% in travel for high profile events, incentives and conferences over the past year. The global alliance of 20 different member airlines are now upgrading their services to the events industry in order to woo further event travel business.

Their Global Meetings product aims to become more user friendly with an increase in readily available information for event planners and travel organisers.

Edwards Hollos, commercial development manager at SkyTeam discussed the changes by saying that, “The take-up of our Global Meetings product has increased 18 per cent year-over-year with a number of high-profile organisations choosing SkyTeam as their preferred alliance partner for their international events. Our innovative approach means we have developed a product tailored to every aspect of the meetings industry in terms of size, network scope and value.”
